It's not a "job." It's a "personal activity."
*HONORARY VOLUNTEER POLICY
HGRBS retains an “honorary volunteer” policy. As an honorary volunteer, you are working with this ministry on special projects for our private home heads. Among the people we are serving are also seniors, the disabled, and women. They are the most vulnerable. Honorary volunteers are HGRBS cohorts. You are not an “outsider.” Quite the contrary, you are in on the action, as well. When you volunteer, it’s also customary for you to shoulder your own expenses. The difference, of course, is that core associates who are registered are able to go places and to do some things which only they are authorized to do by virtue of their being registered volunteer associates in this ministry. Other than these things, please, consider yourself a full-fledged honorary volunteer entitled to the utmost respect, honor, and congeniality. We are all cohorts! Thanks for stepping forward!
The special opportunities which follow are for U.S. citizens who are honorary volunteers willing to play their part in assisting in our ministerial efforts towards our private home heads being better informed against making the wrong decisions about residential contractors who "work" our neighborhoods. These special HGRBS opportunities are through Volunteer Match which is a long-established and credible online resource center for the most amazing volunteers in the world:
*Connectors: Share information with others online about the HGRBS "Free Service Policy" (All data shared is without charge)
*Community Messengers: Drop off a very special flyer to your community/neighborhood center helpful to residents in your area
*Quality Control Inspectors: Help scan designated HGRBS webpages of inoperable links and report them since residents who click on these for helpful information expect them to be functional. You don't want to let them down. Locate! Report!
*Content Inspectors: Inspect for grammatical errors on designated HGRBS sites. Recommend corrections for webmasters to make; or you can be active offline inspecting for and correcting grammatical errors, personally. Most documents are for residents online to benefit. You help our residents to exactly that. Quality information for quality people!
*Writer (General): Write about the experiences of residents in contractor-related home improvement situations!
*Writer (Seniors): Write about the experiences of senior residents in contractor-relate home improvement situations!
*Educational Majors (coll.-univ. caliber): Develop test questions for HGRBS online home study courses for private home heads!
*Community Awareness Associates: Gladly hang helpful resident-friendly posters INDOORS at churches, community centers, neighborhood associations, and business establishments with their permission and/or handout helpful flyers to your neighbors about accessing invaluable home improvement tips without having to pay a cent! Represent!
Thank You for Stepping Forward! Together, We Rock!
